The number of exhibitions Jatin Das has been a part of is lengthily impressive to say the least. Some might argue that, having been an artist for over 40 years, he’s had ample time to rack up a multitude of achievements. But having time is one thing. Doing something productive with it is quite another. 
 
To name just a few, Jatin has shown collections of his remarkable work at the 73rd Annual Art Exhibition (Jehangir Art Gallery), the ‘Festival of India’ in Russia, ‘Women of Clay and other Paintings’ at the Cymroza Art Gallery in Mumbai, and at the Archaeological Museum in Thessaloniki, Greece. 
 
He is not one to talk about (or analyse) the creative process – rather, he prefers to just get on with the business of creating, discovering, responding, exploring. 
 
In 1992, he was honoured with an award by the Bharat Bhavan Biennale of Contemporary Indian Art in Bhopal.
