Sudipta Chaudhry is a painter who strives to encapsulate the power of the mind and spirit as elements of subtle truths. She, in turn, embodies these truths within the strength of her experiences.
Developing patterns in the conscious mind give birth to: movement, change, unpredictability in her work.
For her, colours represent a ‘timeline’, a portrayal of what exists within the self - she tries to join these dynamically, producing a vibration of symphonies with a sense of liberty ‘that cannot be taught’.
Sudipta has been involved in several exhibitions including the International Salon ‘Art Without Borders’ at the Ward-Nasse Gallery, New York, and the Sommerwende International Arts Festival, Berlin.
Private collections of her work can also be found on the walls of places such as the Boardroom of Trans-Gulf Industrial Investment Company in Oman and the US Embassy in Muscat, Oman.
She hails from a family of artists including the eminent Jamini Roy and the much-celebrated sculptress, Meera Mukherjee.
